Lifesaving Swim Instructor

The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course trains candidates on the Competency Level 1 knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to teach the Society’s Swim for Life and Canadian Swim Patrol programs. This is a new course that replaces the Canadian Red Cross Water Safety Instructor program. This includes 8 hours teaching experience. Prerequisites: Bronze Cross (need not be current), 15 years old (by last day of course) Required Material: Is included in the course fee and will be distributed by the instructor Completion Criteria: 100% attendance, complete 8 hours of teaching experience, complete performance criteria
