This is a Co-ed Recreational level league. Teams must supply their own equipment. Games are played at the softball diamonds at the Mission Recreation Park and/or East Kelowna. Co-ed slo-pitch teams are made up of a 6:4 gender ratio (self-identified). A minimum of four players of the same gender must be on the field at all times. Prizes for divisional winners. The Recreational division provides an excellent opportunity for teams with experience beyond the beginner level who seek friendly matches within a moderately competitive environment. Players should have a good grasp of slo-pitch rules and strategies, with teams made up of both experienced and moderate-level players. While play is somewhat challenging, errors are more common, and hitting is less consistent compared to higher leagues. This division bridges the beginner (formerly ‘E’ Beginner) and intermediate (formerly ‘D’ Intermediate) league divisions, offering a mix of competition and enjoyment. 1 home run limit per game.
